Group Piano / $135
Our weekly, 1-hour group lessons take students through six color levels, from beginners to early intermediate repertoire using a mix of modern technology and traditional teaching methods. In the first half hour students develop solid practice techniques using a highly motivating program that scores their progress, reinforces accurate note reading, and strengthens their music listening skills. In the second half hour students attend a small group lesson (2-4 students) where new pieces and concepts are introduced, along with theory, technique, ear training, improvisation and music games.
GREEN: (Level 1)
This class is for young beginner students, ages 6-8, with no previous lesson experience.
PURPLE: (Level 2)
This class is for students who have completed Green (Level 1), or beginner students aged 9+.
ORANGE: (Level 3)
This class is for students who have completed Purple (Level 2), or at teacher's discretion.
BLUE: (Level 4)
This class is for students who have completed Orange (Level 3), or at teacher's discretion.
SILVER: (Level 5)
This class is for students who have completed Blue (Level 4), or at teacher's discretion.
GOLD: (Level 6)
This class is for students who have completed Silver (Level 5), or at teacher's discretion.
Black Level Group / $155
Black Level Group Lessons are designed for students who have completed the Piano Express curriculum or for students age 13 and older (at the teacher’s discretion). During each weekly one-hour class, students rotate through three 20-minute sessions that combine private repertoire instruction, ensemble playing, and small-group study in theory, technique, and ear training. This program is ideal for motivated students who want to continue growing as pianists in a supportive and social environment.
Private Lessons with a Studio Teacher (any level) $135
Private 30-minute lessons provide students with individualized instruction in piano performance, technique, music reading, theory, and musicianship. Lessons are tailored to each student's age, experience level, and musical interests, helping students build confidence, develop strong practice habits, and achieve their personal goals. Students have opportunities to participate in recitals, festivals, and other performance experiences throughout the year.
Advanced Black Level with Dr. Chris - 45 minute $165, 30 minute $145
Designed for serious young pianists, pre-college piano lessons focus on developing technical proficiency, artistic expression, musical understanding, and performance confidence. Students receive individualized instruction tailored to their goals, whether preparing for auditions, examinations, festivals, or college music study. Lessons emphasize efficient practice strategies, healthy technique, comprehensive musicianship, and the development of a lifelong appreciation for music.
