Policies

  • Music class is a wonderful place to make new friends– adults and children alike! To encourage this, the first 5-10 minutes of class is spent on free instrument play and exploration, giving everyone a chance to settle in, chat and connect. 

  • Once class begins, please shift your attention to your child and the music.

  • All levels of participation are acceptable. Each child will interact with the material differently and those who observe are often just as engaged as those singing and dancing along. Follow your child's lead, participate alongside them and have fun! As long as they are focused on the material, they're learning.

  • We kindly ask that you reserve cell phone use for emergencies, leave toys and stuffies at home, and save snacks for before/after class unless it is medically necessary. 

  • You are welcome to capture and share photos and videos of your own child(ren) in class.  We ask that you are careful not to capture the image of any other child or family in the group, and that no other child or family’s images are shared on social media without their consent. 

  • Our classes run continuously through the school year with closures for Thanksgiving, winter break and spring break. Register any time! Please give 2 weeks notice if you need to discontinue classes.

  • If you miss a class due to illness or travel, tuition will not be adjusted, however we do have a very flexible make-up policy, and will do our best to fit you into another class that week or the next. Please email elin.playmusic@gmail.com or playpianomt@gmail.com to reschedule.

  • Tuition is $70/month per child, with a $10 sibling discount. Tuition is paid on the first of each month using a credit card on file.  You can access your account any time through the Parent Portal.
